traditions gone awry

is it too much to ask to have a normal christmas?

where am i and why am i in this handbasket....

i'm not quite sure how i got here...  but here i am.
forty odd years..
heavy on the odd.

mother..
grandmother!
sister..
motherless daughter..
woman in search of herself.
trying to figure it all out...
this thing called life.

all i do know.. is that life is so full.
i just need to sit back and drink from the cup.
everyday.
